The Tao Tea Lounge was founded in 1965 by its very owner, Lee Tao. Starting out as a tiny humble teashop, Mr. Tao dreamed of building a teashop where he can offer his guests the highest quality and handpicked tealeaves to drink. Over the course of the next 60 years, Mr. Tao's teashop still stand strong, bringing the unique taste and aroma that can only be found with his teas.
The origins of our teas.
The Tao Tea Lounge handpicks it's finest tealeaves from across the globe to offer them here in California. Our tealeaves are produced in specialized plantations that are found at these locations:
Having these locations as our source, we are able to deliver the exotic experience, atmosphere, and stimulation our tea provides directly into the hands of our guests.
